ELECTRONIC ART DIRECTOR
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities as the Electronic Art Director for the Creative Services Department of Market America (and its subsidiaries Market Australia and Market Taiwan) included managing and art directing a team of web designers/developers, graphic designers and writers/editors in the creation of digital and web based projects. Role included creative conception, design, art direction, project management and implementation of numerous electronic sales and marketing materials. Examples included Web and CD/DVD based product catalogs, brochures and business materials. Job responsibilities also consisted of the designing and maintaining of all corporate Web sites, Web banner and email advertisements and multimedia presentations.
As the Electronic Art Director, additional duties included the research, purchasing and implementation of all new departmental computer hardware, software and related equipment. Responsibilities also consisted of complete Apple/Mac hardware and software technical support, maintenance and training for a department of nearly 25 users.
SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Responsibilities:
Previous responsibilities as the Senior Graphic Designer for the Marketing and Publications Department of Market America included creative conception, design, art direction, and implementation of numerous direct marketing and sales publications. Examples included catalog and brochure design, editorial layout and product branding. More specifically, regular design projects consisted of annual and quarterly product catalogs, yearbooks, and annual reports. Responsibilities also included designing and managing the production of brochures, flyers, newsletters, logo designs, labeling, event advertising, ticket design, Web banner advertising, and billboard ad design. Additional duties included pre-press and printing support, art direction, project management, consulting for all department technology equipment purchases, technical support and maintenance of all departmental computer hardware and software.
